Police nabbed two people for carrying Rs 1 lakh cash in old currency. The duo were nabbed near Mavli yesterday.

On being questioned, the duo could not give a satisfactory explanation for possessing the amount and were detained by police for further interrogation.

Anwar Khan and Kaloo Khan are both residents of Nimbahera. The duo were travelling from Nathdwara to Nimbahera with the cash when they were intercepted and nabbed by Police.

The cash was seized under section 102 of the CrPC and police is currently investigating the matter.
