Two mobile thieves have been arrested by Surajpole police. Search operation is on for the others involved in the most talked about mobile thefts in town.

Some time back Galaxy mobile world at Udiapole was robbed and mobiles worth lakhs of rupees were taken away. All these mobiles fall in expensive range. Police have recovered 13 mobiles from these robbers. Police are still searching for 2 others involved in this case.

As per DYSP Bhagwat Singh Hinger, 2 of the thieves who broke into Galaxy Mobile world making their way through ventilator on 26th June have been arrested. These thieves stole 22 expensive mobiles from the shop. A team comprising of ASI Devi Singh, ASI Kishore Singh, HC Tej Singh, Omveer, Constable Man Bahadur, Bhupendra and Shakti Singh led by SI Heramb Joshi traced the mobiles based on IMEI numbers. The investigation led them to Suraj s/o GulabChand Meghwal resident of Lakadwas and Nadeem s/o Ahmed resident of Raza Colony.

These two culprits were immediately arrested and 13 mobile instruments were recovered from them. After interrogation, the master minds of this theft were revealed as Ramesh aka Anna s/o Homaji Gameti resident of Nai village and Shyamlal s/o Munnalal Shrivastav resident of Reti stand. Search operations have commenced for these history sheeters. It is expected that once these two are found, it will be a curtain raiser on many other thefts that have happened in the city.

17 cases are registered against Ramesh Gameti in Surajpole, Hathipole, Clock Tower, Hiranmagri, Bhupalpura and Nathdwara police stations for thefts and cash robberies. Ramesh is registered as history sheeter in Nai police station. As per police, Ramesh and Shyamlal sold off these expensive mobiles to many people at throw-away rates. Police is now on the look-out for these buyers.
