Digamber Jain Chittora community had proposed a Bandh in the city, after their grievances had gone unheard subsequent to the murder of property dealer Dilip Chittora.

Members of the community, including Dinesh Chittora, brother of the deceased and Jinendra Jain, Brother in Law of the deceased had met the Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria a day ago demanding immediate arrest of the murderers and justice for the crime.

Home Minister Kataria promised that the police is investigating the whereabouts of the accused and they will be arrested in 2-3 days. Following this assurance, the community has postponed the proposed Bandh. The Bandh had earlier been scheduled for today, December 1.
