27-year old Udaipur resident lady was looted in Mewar Express late night on Sunday at around 3 pm. The looted happened near Bundi railway station.

Arunima, a resident of mewar complex was returning from Mathura to Udaipur in Mewar Express. Someone pulled the chain just after the train left Bundi station. A man entered the AC coach and grabbed Arunima’s purse and started running. Arunima woke at this and started chasing the man. The man meanwhile reached on the other side of the coach and locked the door from outside. After a cry of help from Arunima, fellow passengers reached there and opened the door. By this time the man had jumped off and escaped taking advantage of the dark.

Arunima reported a loss of her iPhone, Tablet and Rs 3000 cash along with other documents.

The ticket collector noted that 3 miscreants had also been in other compartments and they were carrying knife with them.
