The people of Shiv Park Colony near Durga Nursery Road have appealed to the District Collector Hemant Gera, to arrest the culprits of a nearly fatal attack on the BJP (City) General Secretary, Motilal Dangi on 15^th June. Dangi is a resident of Shiv Park Colony.

While police claim to have identified the culprits who fired at Dangi, they are not ready to reveal the details prior to closing in on the arrests.

Fortunately, Dangi survived the attack but the people of Shiv Park Colony said that this attack is capable of harming peace in the city and if the culprits are not arrested soon, all the residents of the colony will go on strike.

According to close sources, the Police have detained over a dozen suspected people to get a possible lead on this attack, which could be due to the property dispute as Motilal Dangi is active in the Real Estate business.

Though not official as yet, but the name of a ‘local gangster’ is coming up, who took the contract of killing Dangi.
