Udaipur Police nabbed two accomplices of noted criminal Muzaffar alias Goga after exchanging gun fire in Ladani village in Fatehnagar Police Station area. One of the miscreants got injured after two bullets hit his thigh while the other got injured after he fell off the bike while trying to escape. Meanwhile, Goga and his other accomplice managed to flee of the scene.

SP Kunwar Rashtradeep informed that a special task force had been formed for nabbing noted criminal Goga. Goga has been the accused for quite a few serious criminal activities in Udaipur over the last couple of years. He is the prime accused in the 19-Sep firing where Kalu Pinjara was gunned down to death.

Police received a tip-off from informer that Goga and three of his accomplice were coming on a bike from Bhilwara towards Udaipur. On this, a Special team headed by Goverdhan Singh Bhati and Bhupalpura CI Harendra Singh led team left to nab Goga and his partners. Along with that road-blockages were set up by Vallabhnagar division SHOs.

Police team from Udaipur set up a check-point at Mavli Chauraha and team with constable Prahlad and Bhanwarlal went in a private car towards Fatehnagar border. When the private car team spotted Goga and partners coming from Bhilwara, they informed the check-point team at Mavli. At this, the Mavli team also left towards Fatehnagar. About 9 kms before Mavli, the four accused were spotted by Police team near Ladani village.

On spotting Police, the four accused tried to turn back and flee on the Bhilwara route. On this the private car police team that was coming from behind them tried to stop them. The accused open fire on the team. In defence, the Police team also fired 4 rounds. Imran alias Imu was hit by the bullet while Sajid alias Saeed had his leg fractured after he fell from the motorcycle. Goga and Bada Mewati managed to flee from the scene.

Imran and Sajid were arrested by the police and admitted to MB Hospital. Police has intensified look-out for Goga and Bada Mewati.
