In a major breakthrough, a special task force of Udaipur district police nabbed a much wanted criminal yesterday. The criminal Pokhar Khateek was wanted in multiple cases and carried a prize money of Rs 5000 for anyone who helped police in nabbing him.

As per the information receive, Pokhar Khateek was planning ann escape to Gujarat when he was nabbed by the Police. The Police arrested him and took into possession a Scorpio car, 3 mobile phones and Rs 5000 cash that he was carrying.

Udaipur SSP Ranu Sharma informed that special task force received a tip-off from an informer that wanted criminal Pokhar Khateek was currently hiding in Sukher and planning an escape to Gujarat. Acting on the information, Police raided a house near new RTO office and nabbed the accused.

Pokhar Khateek is wanted in over 15 cases including burglary, theft, rape, kidnapping and smuggling.
