The Hiran Magri police station, Udaipur successfully recovered a sum of Rs 1.65 Lakh which was duped by cyber thugs through various online scams. Station Officer Ramsumer Meena reported that these cyber criminals have been deceiving people and extorting lakhs of rupees using different fraudulent tactics. Head Constable Kamalendra Singh and Constable Rajkumar Jakhar led a dedicated team that took swift action to apprehend the culprits and restore the victim's money.

The team tackled numerous cases of online cyber fraud, diligently working to freeze the fraudsters accounts by coordinating with relevant companies and banks. Through effective communication and necessary measures, they were able to recover Rs 1.65 Lakh that had been swindled by the criminals.

One instance involved Okar Lal, who received a call from someone posing as a bank employee, requesting his credit card details for closing the account. Unfortunately, Okar Lal fell victim to this scam and lost Rs 30,000. However, the entire amount was later refunded to him.

Similarly, Sunil Kumar Audichya was also targeted by a fraudulent caller claiming his ATM card was outdated and promising a bonus upon updating it. Sunil Kumar shared his debit card details and ended up being cheated of Rs 31 thousand 493. Fortunately, he received a full refund of the amount. In another incident, Deepak Kumar was deceived of Rs 50,000, but the entire sum was recovered through Paytm. Vinod Kumar faced a scam involving an online job offer and lost Rs 10,000, which was later refunded to him. Additionally, Ramesh Chandra Vyas was a victim of cheating through an online site, but he, too, had the full amount refunded to him.

The relentless efforts of the police team at Hiran Magri police station have made a significant impact in combating cybercrime and ensuring that victims are rightfully compensated for their losses.
