Arjun Saini, a resident of Udaipur, had taken up the job of a field agent with a company named Agro Business Solutions Pvt Ltd.  His job was to collect processing charges from people to get their bank loan applications processed. When Arjun asked his company to process the loans of the people from whom he had collected money, the company did not respond.  This made Arjun suspicious of a fraud and he complained to the police, who got into action.

As per reports, the Noid Police have busted a gang of 9 people who were running a company by the name of Agro Business Solutions Pvt Ltd.  The company, victims said, offered to get their loans cleared and asked for a prepayment of 10% of the loan amount to get their papers processed.  This company, as per the Police, has been hiring field agents in cities across Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan among others, to seek out people in need of loan and get them to connect with the company.  Arjun is one such field agent.

Noida Superintendent of Police (City) Arun Kumar said that on receiving the complaint from Arjun, they did the investigation and arrested the kingpin of the gang along with his team.  The arrest was made at the company’s office in Sector 63, Noida.  The estimated collection by this gang is approximately Rs 25 lakh, he added.

The Police said that Arjun Saini from Udaipur alleged that the company gave him a job of Field Agent and he collected Rs 3.56 lakh from people. On approaching the company to process the clients’ loan papers, the people from the firm abused him and threatened him, following which he complained to the Police.

A laptop, list of phone numbers, printer and plenty of documents were seized from the company’s office in Noida.  Those arrested include Javed, the kingpin, Sonhaveer Singh, Jolly, Mohd Tazamur, Akash and Ravindra Singh from Meerut; Vipin and Farman from Muzaffarnagar and Anit from Baghpet.  All arrested are graduates have been booked under IPC Section 420, 406, 120B and 507.  All have been remanded to judicial custody as per reports.
