An attractive offer of getting 2 Thali FREE on purchase of 1 Thali by famous restaurant Natraj Dining Hall spread on Facebook early today.   The offer, however, turned out to be FAKE and more than half a dozen people fell prey to the fraudulent offer.

Mayank Shrimali, owner of Natraj Dining informed that today he received call from a customer who enquired about such an offer, "I denied any such offer by the restaurant. The customer luckily recorded the conversation of the alleged suspect and shared with us", said Mayank.

In the conversation, the suspect is sharing the menu and asking to pay Rs.10 through Credit/Debit card.  When the customer asks of an option to pay through Google Pay, the suspect said only Credit/Debit card is accepted and that can be done through a link he will share.

The link is of a Google Form where all confidential details has been asked to be filled including CARD NUMBER, CVV, CARD EXPIRY etc. The trick is to get all the details and then steal the amount from the Card account.

An FIR has been lodged at Surajpol Police Station and police have started investigations. As per reports, the mobile number from which the alleged fraud call came, is registered in West Bengal.

People are requested to beware of such fraud and never ever share confidential details of bank account and Credit/Debit card to any one in any case.
