An ABVP activisit alleged that he was attacked by members of the Chhatra Sangharsh Samiti party today 4 pm at the University College of Science.

According to Hiren Patel, ABVP, while he was busy interacting with the students, when 8-10 CSS party workers attacked him.

“Deepak Sharma along with his supporters Ajaypal Singh, Virendra Singh, Amul Singh, Shailendra Singh, Ashok Sharma and others thrashed me with hockey sticks and canes.  Pouncing on me, I was dragged and laid down on the ground, and beaten with punches and kicks,” said Hiren Patel.

He added, “I yelled for help, and noticing my supporters coming to help me, the accused escaped in their vehicles. I have lodged an FIR along with senior ABVP activists”. On the contrary, Dilip Joshi, President CSS, said, “I am not aware of any such incident, my schedule is too busy in preparation of tomorrow’s elections, which is a big day for us”.
