The gang had stolen batteries and diesel from IPL Factory.

Hiranmagri police unveiled a racket involved in the theft of vehicle batteries and diesel. 9 members of this theft-racket have been arrested. 

As per a complaint lodged by Manish Purohit, owner of IPL Factory, batteries and diesel was being constantly stolen from the factory premises. Some thieves entered the factory and attacked the vehicle driver and the security guard before the theft. 

The police teams were constantly on the watch and arrested Bhuri Lal who revealed the names of his accomplices involved in the theft. Laluram, Pappu Lal, Chunni Lal, Lakshman Lal, Pushkar Lal, Narayan Lal, Logar Lal and Dinesh Lal were arrested thereafter. 

The gang has confessed to having stolen batteries and diesel from almost 12 vehicles in the factory. As per police reports, the gang was working as labour in factories in RIICO Kaladwas and Umarda. They were quite familiar of the geographical conditions of these areas and used to escape via the hilly regions after committing the crime. They would then sell the diesel at 50 rupees a litre.
