[VIDEO] Suspected Medical Students Assault Petrol Pump workers
Over a dozen alleged medical students lethally attacked the staff members of petrol pump located at Chetak Circle last night of 25 July injuring 2 employees of pump and damaging the MPT Machine before fleeing the scene.

Video recording of this horrifying assault clearly shows the faces of the culprits and the terror spread by them in the city of lakes. However, none of the attackers have been identified and arrested so far.
Police is closely investigating the case with the help of eye witnesses and CCTV footage obtained from petrol pump.
According to Shetal Amin, owner of the Apaji Petrol Pump, two students came on a motorcycle to have petrol filled at around 10 pm. The pump attendee Prem Shankar Joshi was there that time and after filling petrol the students started arguing with him over some petty issue.
“They were allegedly drunk and while exiting petrol pump they hit a parked motorbike of another employee of pump” said Shetal.
As per the event narrated by Prem Shankar and Naveen Chand Nagda, Prem Shankar yelled at the students for felling the bike of Nagda. This angered the students and a scuffle broke out which resulted in breaking a spectacle of one of the boys by Prem Shankar.
Students immediately called senior students who arrived shortly and scolded Prem Shankar and asked to pay Rs.1000 for the loss. Prem Shankar paid them and the student left the pump.
At around 11:20 pm, around 15 students laced with sticks attacked petrol pump while the employees were busy counting the cash collection.
“They entered the room where we were sitting and started hitting us. In order to defend ourselves, we also tried to retaliate but they overpowered us because they were laced with sticks”, said Naveen Chand who received multiple injuries on face.
The action continued for 10 more minutes when finally one stick hit Prem Shankar’s head and it started bleeding profusely.
A complaint was lodged with Hathipol Police Station. All injured were rushed to Aravali Hospital and discharged after medication.
When asked as to how do the victims know that all attackers were medical students, Police said that one of the victims, Naveen, knows the attacker by face.
Condemning the attack, the association of petrol pumps in Udaipur has announced a closure of all petrol pumps from 5 pm (26th July 2012) till 7 am (27th July 2012).
