In a case of daylight robbery, a man was robbed at knife point by 4 people. The incident happened along the road that goes from University towards new RTO office.

As per the details received, the incident happened at around 3:30 pm in the afternoon. The victim, Ramesh Meena, in his report lodged at Sukher police station said that he works as a waiter at Khalsa restaurant on University road. He was going along with his colleague on a motorcycle from the restaurant owner’s house situated at RTO office to the restaurant.

All of a sudden, four people came on a white coloured stunt bike and stopped them mid-way. Then, at knife point, the four people robbed Meena of purse with Rs 2,500 and also took away his mobile phone.

Meena said that the four people were in drunken state.
