A woman was arrested from a hotel at Gulab Bagh road. She was staying under a fake identity. As per reports, this woman is a drug dealer.

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) arrested Hazel Donald from Hotel Gold Leaf in Gulab Bagh area. She was staying in the hotel as Andrea under a fake identity with her husband Donald. Police got information about smuggling of cocaine worth 50 lakh rupees.

DRI was informed by an American intelligence that a parcel had arrived in Mumbai on 16th November from Trinidad (Chicago). This parcel was delivered to a woman named Sonia who pretended to be Andrea’s sister. The parcel was delivered in Skywalk Complex at Malad Tank Road in Mumbai.

When the DRI team reached Sonia’s residence on 17th November, she denied knowing any person named Andrea but later revealed that she was supposed to deliver the parcel to Andrea who was in Udaipur on that day.

The DRI team traced Andrea’s location in Udaipur. Andrea turned out to be Hazel who was earlier arrested in Mumbai regarding a kidnapping case where she met Sonia who was arrested in a case of fraud. After the arrest, Hazel aka Andrea was presented before the court and after the transit was permitted by the court, the police teams took her to Mumbai. The parcel contained 502 grams of cocaine.
