Woman Kidnapped by Her Own Husband, Rescued

Salma Qureshi (38), mother of three children, married since 2005 was kidnapped last night on Friday, from her house at Sajjan Nagar by her own husband. Fortunately, she was rescued by police within few hours of all this action.

 

A woman was rescued right in time, after being kidnapped by her own husband.

Salma Qureshi (38), mother of three children, married since 2005 was kidnapped last night on Friday, from her house at Sajjan Nagar by her own husband. Fortunately, she was rescued by police within few hours of all this action. Four people including her husband Shakir Qureshi have been arrested for the crime.

It is alleged that Salma was living alone for nearly one and half month with her elder daughter, after she left Shakir, while her two children are staying with shakir himself.

The couple hails from Indore where they have been staying together for more than 5 years, it is alleged that this case has revealed yet another story of a woman being brutally harassed and sexually abused by her own husband. After a failed first marriage, Salma witnessed another nightmare when she found herself trapped in this relationship, with all those tortures.

One and half month ago she took a brave step of running away from Indore to Udaipur in a hope for a better future.

But, her destiny followed her here too soon, when her husband Shakir Qureshi who came to Udaipur last night with his three friends Kheriyad Pehlwan, Shakir alias bunty and Shanu. They took Salma forcibly in a car and tried to leave Udaipur, but after being informed by some locals, the police caught them at check post at Sukher, all four accused have been arrested and booked for kidnapping.

Narayan Singh INO Ambamata said “the four accused are arrested and the car – zylo MP-09-BC-3007 which was used for crime is under police custody, further investigations are on”.
