Strict regulations have been issued for the forthcoming 10th Board examinations. No one, not even the staff, will be allowed to carry mobile phones inside the examination centre. Rajasthan Board has issued strict directives so as to avoid cheating practices during the examinations. Following this all including the centre head will not be allowed to carry mobiles inside the examination halls. Another provision that has been applied is that it will not be compulsory to pass the third language for certain specially abled students.

Joint Director for School Education, Udaipur, Bharat Mehta said that 2 years back board had made provisions to stop the cheating practice. For this, bar code system was applied for English subject instead of roll numbers but this was later stopped as it did not prove to be a success.
