It is quite a shocking news that there are a number of colleges which are not taking relevant steps to obtain NOC from the Department of Education. 29 colleges of Udaipur and 10 colleges of Rajsamand have been listed in this category.
There are around 700 colleges in Rajasthan which have not yet obtained NOC from the government. They are overlooking the fact that the future of the students is at stake in the absence of NOC.
As per the Commissionerate of College Education, private colleges were given the deadline of 31st October 2019 to obtain NOC for the session 2020-21 without any kind of late fee. All colleges were supposed to submit the hard copy of their NOC to their state nodal college online within 10 days. But the private colleges numbering to 699 did not submit the hard copies despite the fact that they applied online.
Now the Commissionerate is finding it troublesome to issue NOC to the colleges in the prescribed time and this is quite likely to create issues for the students' future.
