It was SSC CGL Tier 1 exam at Airport road on Tuesday and 40 people were kept out and not allowed to appear for the exam.

40 students have alleged that they were prohibited from entering the examination centre on Tuesday on false grounds. SSC CGL Tier 1 exams were held on Tuesday at Airport road.

As per the allegations, the 40 examinees who turned up for the SSC CGL exam were stopped outside the examination centre on false grounds that they did not have a valid photo identification with them.

The students said that they went to the centre for the online exam which was scheduled to take place from 4 to 5 p.m. The students were supposed to carry a valid photo-ID with them. Most of the students produced driving license and Adhar card, both, but they were not allowed to enter the examination hall.

As per the admit card, they were supposed to report between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. and they reached at 3:15 p.m. Their Ahdar cards were not accepted as photo-ID and they were asked to produce e-Adhar. When the examinees said that their Adhar card is a valid document, the centre organiser refused stating that the Adhar did not have VID number. The students resisted saying that they have appeared for exams on the basis of their existing cards but the centre organiser refused. The students claim that have been deliberately harassed. They also said that they have been preparing for this exam since the last 6 months and have payed a lot for thier studies. When the centre organiser Kamlesh Tanwar was called for clarification, he did not receive the phone calls.
