In what can be safely assumed to be an overwhelming response, over 600 entries were received from students as their contribution towards the Inter School Essay Competition – “Udaipur of My Dreams”.

Over 20 schools supported this initiative of UdaipurTimes.com, powered to performance by Big Bazaar, Resonance, MaxPro, MyFM and LifeStyle Cards.

The entries are very well done in most cases, though the word limit has been crossed as the writer could have been lost in writing more about the wonderful place that is Udaipur.

Final declaration of the results will be taking place on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Big Bazaar, near Sukhadia Circle, Udaipur from 11 am onwards. All the students who have contributed towards the competition will be at the venue.

The Prize Distribution event will be attended by N.C. Jain, Chief Forest Conservator, Udaipur District, who will do the honors as the Chief Guest. The Special Guests will be Commander (Retd) Mansoor Ali Bohra, Director, Unico Management Solutions Pvt Ltd, Udaipur, Lt. Col (Retd) Sirajuddin, Chairman, Udaipur Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd and Anupam Bhargava, renowned Economist and Ex-Banker with 20+ yrs in SBI & HDFC. The Special Guests are also members of the Judging Panel for the entries.

RJ Ankit of MyFM fame will be coordinating the complete event. The prizes will be distributed on the venue and all the contributions will be given a Certificate from UdaipurTimes.com.
