A Warm Gesture for Needy StudentsVolunteers of the Bharat Vikas Parishad (Subhash) distributed warm clothes to the students of a government run secondary school near Udaipur as a part of their Annual donation process. The program was also followed by a touching play-act performed by the students.

In a small event held on Thursday, 5th January, a group of volunteers led by Dr. P.C Jain of Bharat Vikas Parishad donated woolen clothes to the students of Girl’s Secondary School at Chawand.

Dr. P.C Jain informed “We conduct this activity every year in winter to help students from the financially weaker sections, however a mere donation is not the only motto of our organization; we also try to educate and create awareness in these children on education and health related issues.”

The school students also performed a play named ‘Mein nashedi se shadi nahi karungi’ depicting how consumption of drugs and alcohol can affect the life of the addicted person and his family. The act was presented by the school girls under the guidance of Dr. Jain, who is also a specialist for treating drug addicts.

On this occasion, students pledged that they would never take drugs in their life time and will not marry a man who is a drug addict.
