Admissions to Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School from March 14
Applications for admissions into 3,737 Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools in Rajasthan will be open till March 23; lottery selection on March 25 if applications exceeds available seats
Udaipur, March 10, 2026 - The process for admission into 3,737 Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools operating across Rajasthan will begin after the Class 12 Board examinations are completed on March 11.
The Directorate of Secondary Education Rajasthan officially released the admission time frame on Monday (March 9). The application process will begin on March 14 and candidates can apply until March 23. Students will be given 10 days to submit applications for admission to English medium schools.
If the number of applications exceeds the available seats, candidates will be selected through a lottery system on March 25. Of the 3,737 schools, many currently have more than 50% seats vacant.
The admission process for these schools is being initiated two months earlier than last year because the new academic session 2026-27 across the State will start from April 1.
