A two day induction programme was organized for the first year Under Graduate students of BMS, BCA and B.Com (H) at Advent Institute of Management Science & Technology (UG), Udaipur.

In her address to the new students during the inaugural session, Dr. Amitha Singhvi, Principal, said that proper personality development is as much the need of the current scenario as the course curriculum. At Advent, the students are groomed to face the real life challenges with at most competency.

Aditya Shah, CAO, Advent age Education Foundation impressed upon the students the necessity to create an identity of their own in this competitive world.

Priyanka Pagaria, Assistant Professor, gave an overview of the different activities to be held during the two day induction programme.

The chief guest Vineet Baya, director PT Education, motivated the students and threw light on the different aspects and dimensions of management. He also discussed the options and opportunities available to these students after graduation.

On the second day Dr. Anupam Bhargava, a renowned economist addressed the students on the recent developments and issues of the Indian economy. He gave some valuable tips to the students on how to prepare themselves in order to survive these challenges and create a place for themselves in this globalised world.

In the post-lunch session Ankita Lakhani of Monk Consultancy, explained the importance of coordination, leadership skills and team work through management games. The students also showcased their talents and innovative skills during the various competitions held for them.

The programme was convened by Anubha Mathur, Assistant Professor. Nidhi Lodha, Assistant Professor, Advent College gave the vote of thanks.
