Mohanlal Sukhadia University Law College will become the first government law college in Rajasthan to integrate Artificial Intelligence with legal education

Udaipur, Jan 16, 2026 - The Law College of Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU) has taken a significant step toward modernising legal education in line with changing times. From the upcoming academic session, the college will introduce AI-based education through smart classrooms, where students will study law alongside artificial intelligence and modern technologies.

This initiative is likely to make MLSU Law College the first government law college in Rajasthan to start AI-based teaching.

The university will integrate AI into both the five-year (BA LL.B) and three-year (LL.B) law programmes. This move aims to better prepare students for the rapidly evolving legal landscape in which technology has become the backbone of judicial processes. Technology is now widely used in areas such as case management, e-courts, and dispute resolution, making technical proficiency essential for future legal professionals.

The Law College is setting up AI-enabled smart classrooms for BA LL.B and LL.B courses. Through these classrooms, students will be trained on the same technical platforms and digital procedures currently used in Courts. Faculty members will also receive training to effectively use modern legal technologies. By digitally integrating subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Data Privacy, Blockchain, and Cyber Security into the curriculum, students will not only gain a legal perspective on technological innovations but will also become capable of handling technology-driven legal disputes efficiently.
