Upset over the delay in release of semester results, students across departments today staged a protest outside MLSU administration building and even put a lock on the gates.

The protestors raising slogan demanded an early release of the semester results. They said that results for various departments of the university have not been released despite a long delay. While semester exams are to be conducted every six months,results do not get released on time resulting in semesters lasting upto 10 months instead on 6 months, claimed the protesting students.

Students then submitted a memorandum to acting Vice Chancellor Anand Paliwal. University administration assured the students of releasing the results in 7 days time. Post this the students called off their protest.
