Udaipur, December 21, 2024 - St. Paul's Senior Secondary School, Udaipur, celebrated its Annual Sports Day yesterday, The theme was Olive Wreaths, simulating the Olympian tradition.
Randheer Singh Bhinder, ex MLA, was the Chief Guest at the event. Dr Lokesh Bharti, DEO (Secondary), was Guest of Honour, and Rt. Rev. Dr Devprasad Ganawa, president CDESI, was Special Guest.
The Sports Meet was declared open by the Chief Guest and the School Principal, Rev. Father George KK, delivered the Welcome note.
The programme began with a March Past by senior students, NCC Air and Naval Wing Cadets, Scouts, Guides and Cubs. The school parade was led by school commander Yuvraj Benjamin and the school flag bearer was Nandini Choudhary. The school torch was carried by the House Captains. The school Olympic Flame was lit by School Sports Secretaries Puranjay Singh Chauhan (Boys) and Anita Chacko (Girls).
Final races, in total 29 of them, were held for all age groups, starting from Nursery to Grade XII. Field performances included dances, rhythmic yoga, martial arts and aerobics.
School manager, Rev. Fr Marcel Dodiyar delivered the Vote of Thanks.
Overall in-charge of the Sports Day were teachers Mukesh Chauhan, Bhanwar Singh Chouhan, Goverdhan Singh Chauhan and Poonam Gehlot.
