The creative students of Aravali Institute of Technical Studies have created a bicycle operated washing machine, conforming to the alternative source of energy which is utilized for its working.

The cycle is attached with the gear system that converts human energy into mechanical energy, accentuating clockwise and anti-clockwise movement of the washing machine’s wheel. This machine has the capacity to wash 4-7.5 Kg of clothes.

The innovative machine was developed in one month’s time by students of 4th year mechanical stream. Students including Chirag Varsadia, Nikhil Vasani, Tushar Radiya, Pradeep Lakhani, Jaidev Makwana and Jaydeep Sawliya created this machine under the guidance of Nishant Vyas.
