Aryabhatta Science Center

The Aryabhatta Science Community Center, established by the Science Committee at Adarsh Nagar, is dedicated to providing free education for children in the area. Since its inauguration in 2021, the center has successfully imparted scientific knowledge to over a thousand children. The center actively engages with schools in both rural and urban areas, reaching out to students and inviting them to benefit from the educational opportunities it offers. Lab in-charge Mahip Bhatnagar emphasizes the availability of instruments related to every scientific subject, allowing students to gain hands-on experience.

Regular seminars are organized at the lab to provide children with diverse information, covering various aspects of science. One noteworthy aspect is the focus on explaining the usefulness of chemicals, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of scientific concepts.

Importantly, the center operates on a philanthropic basis, with no fees charged for students who come to learn. The commitment to providing free education extends beyond the students, as even the members of the committee generously volunteer their time and efforts to ensure that valuable information is accessible to all children in the community.

The Aryabhatta Science Community Center offers a collection of computer science-related films brimming with captivating information. These films are accessible to children through computers, aiming to spark their interest in science while imparting knowledge about devices and their applications.

To foster scientific curiosity, the Science Committee, headquartered in Udaipur district, extends financial assistance to students keen on pursuing science. Moreover, the committee provides support for students facing financial constraints in paying their fees. This supportive initiative takes place once a year.

The lab is equipped with instruments spanning Physics, Life Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology and Mathematics, including a microscope. Children are encouraged to explore and operate these instruments independently, creating a hands-on learning experience. The lab operates seamlessly, and it also features information on the practical applications of solar energy, space exploration, and various small instruments related to the moon.
