B.Ed Internship Attendance

This is an important news for people doing B.Ed and M.Ed. It means that taking the internship through unofficial channels won't be possible anymore. After enrolling in a B.Ed program in the state, the education department will keep a close eye on your internship. As per the Rajasthan School Education Board, if B.Ed trainees choose to intern in government schools, they must record their attendance online through the Shala Darpan portal.

Besides, it is essential to note that you must also mark your attendance manually in the school register. Before starting the internship, students are assigned to schools based on their preferences indicated in the forms, allowing them to intern in a nearby school. However, there will now be a notable restriction on this process. Consequently, candidates won't be able to alter their internship details in the documents.

In Udaipur district, there are about 68 private colleges for B.Ed and M.Ed. These colleges give students a chance to intern while they study. The district Education Department decides where each student will intern, placing them in various government schools. Around 7 thousand students are pursuing B.Ed in the district, and all of them do internships.

It is important to highlight that in many places across the state, B.Ed internship candidates are often not present in schools. Previously, internships were completed on paper, but now each intern must physically go to a school. This change will be beneficial for them.
