Udaipur, January 1, 2025 - The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will issue admit cards for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2025 on February 20, seven days before the exam. The test is scheduled for February 27, 2025. RBSE Secretary Kailash Chandra Sharma announced that admit cards will be available online. Candidates can contact the board if they find any errors in their admit cards.
As of December 31, 2024, the total number of applications has crossed 3.25 lakh.
Level-1 Applications: 86,130
Level-2 Applications: 2,13,869
Both Levels: 25,572
The state education department has made biometric verification mandatory to prevent incidents like paper leaks and dummy candidates. District collectors and education officers have been directed to complete arrangements by January 5, 2025.
Two male and two female police personnel will be deployed per center.
Videography and photography of the examination process will be mandatory.
CCTVs will be installed at all centers.
This year, question papers will be stored in district treasuries. Senior RAS officers will serve as nodal officers to ensure safety.
Only government schools and colleges will be chosen as exam centers.
Blacklisted centers will not be used.
Blacklisted employees are barred from appointment at exam centers.
Candidates must reach the centers one hour before the exam for security checks.
Mobiles, smartwatches, and other electronic devices are banned inside the centers.
The state government has appointed RBSE as the nodal agency for conducting REET. A district-level committee, chaired by district collectors, will oversee the examination process.
January 5, 2024: Appointment of nodal officers and identification of exam centers.
February 20, 2024: Admit card release.
February 27, 2024: Exam date.
This year, around 15-20 lakh candidates are expected to appear in REET.
