eClassRoom Videos for Children with Special Needs

Saurabh informed that Rajasthan is the only state in India where the eClassRoom videos have been prepared by the teachers of Government Schools in Rajasthan. Teachers were trained for this activity. He said that such videos are also being developed in English for English medium schools in the state. A unique part of this project is the sign language enabled videos have been developed for children with special needs.

These videos have been launched and can be seen on the Gyaan App.

Admission without Transfer Certificates

The Director informed that if a child is looking at getting admission, the absence of a transfer certificate will not keep him from availing education.  Temporary admissions will be given to such children and once the paperwork is complete, the admission will be permanent.

Homework Portfolio

Saurabh Swami, in an interaction with Rajasthan Patrika also informed that a Homework Portfolio will be prepared for each child. The Homework Portfolio will be updated for children till 8th standard and for classes 9-12, the Portfolio will be updated twice a week. This Portfolio will be kept in the school and children will be invited to meet the teachers and discuss their problem areas and have them resolved. This will ensure that children associate with the school more closely and their performance and Homework can be monitored.
