BNIPS student receives scholarship of Rs.1.2 Crore by Queensland University

Vandana Rathore, student of M.Pharm. Pharmacology from BN Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, was awarded scholarship of Rs. 1.2 Crore by Queensland University, Australia for Ph.D. degree.

Vandana Rathore, student of M.Pharm. Pharmacology from BN Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, was awarded scholarship of Rs. 1.2 Crore by Queensland University, Australia for Ph.D. degree.

Vandana did her postgraduate dissertation work from Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life-sciences, Hyderabad on “In-vitro technique for LSD1 inhibitor assay and in-vivo study on zebra fish embryo” under guidance of Dr. Kiranam Chetti and Dr. Komal Sharma.

Vandana has received “International Postgraduate Research Scholarship” for three years starting from January 2014 by Queensland University, Brisbane, Australia that is worth Rs.1.2 Crore in Indian rupees.

Principal of BNIPS, Dr. Chetan Singh Chauhan told that, “It is a matter of great pride for Vandana and all of us as she had is successfully put a feather in Udaipur’s grid of talented students cap.”

Dr.Kamal Singh Rathore, student welfare in charge and co-guide of her research at BNIPS told to UdaipurTimes.com that Vandana has always been extra-ordinary in her study and she also wrote five coveted papers in high reputed international journals like org.biomol.chem, Eur.Jour. Med.Chem., Med.Chem.Research and Arabian Journal of Chemistry etc. She also presented her work in national and international conferences.

Dr.NN Singh Khod, MD, BN Institutions congratulated her and wished her a very bright future. Dr.MS Rathore, Secretary, told that this is very prestigious and pride moment for BN family.
