General and Commercial Law’ a book based on the syllabus of the Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI) written by Udaipur based, C.S. Isha Nagra, was launched today at Hotel Days India International. C.S. Shyam Agarwal, Secretary of the Northern Indian Regional Council (NIRC) of ICSI was the Chief Guest and C.S. S.N. Maheshwari, the Chairman of ICSI Udaipur Chapter was the Guest of Honor at the event. Other renowned personalities of the city present for the function were C.A. Dinesh Pagaria, C.A. Nirmal Kumawat and C.A. Arun Ratnawat.

General and Commercial Law’ a book based on the syllabus of the Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI) written by Udaipur based, C.S. Isha Nagra, was launched today at Hotel Days India International.

Nirmal Kumawat and C.A. Arun Ratnawat.

C.S. Isha Nagra gave information about the features of the book and said, “Unlike most of the law books, ‘General and Commercial Law’ is written in a more user friendly manner with the help of diagrams and a glossary for Latin Maxims used in the book. The book is divided into 3 parts for the best understanding of the reader”.

Isha also runs a coaching center- Satnaam Classes, at Panchwati, Udaipur for the students pursuing C.S. and is well aware of the program of study and examination pattern of ICSI. It took her one year to complete the book.

Talking further on the book the author mentions, “I have added 300 new objective type questions and solved question paper of ICSI. For the smart study practice of students questions are rated out of 5 stars. Higher number of star marked questions holds the higher possibility to appear in the next examination.”

Congratulating Isha for her success, C.S. Shyam Agarwal said, “I really appreciate Isha’s contribution to the profession. She is the first one in Rajasthan to write a book for C.S. I wish this book a great success and hopefully the Institute will soon recommend the book directly.”

‘General and Commercial Law’ costs Rs. 328/- and will be available shortly in markets all over India. In case of change in curriculum of the ICSI syllabus, the author promises to come up with a revised and improved edition.
