CA Intermediate Exam Rescheduled to Jan 19
The Admit Cards which have already been issued will be valid for the new exam date, says ICAI
Dec 29, 2025 - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued a notification announcing a change in the examination date for Paper 5 – Auditing and Ethics under the CA Intermediate January 2026 session (Group II).
According to the revised announcement, this examination will now be conducted on January 19, 2026. It was earlier slated for January 15, 2026. This change has been made owing to the Municipal Corporation elections in Maharashtra on January 15.
The timing of the exam will be 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Admit Cards which have already been issued will be valid for the new exam date, says the ICAI.
There has been no change in the exam dates of the other papers, according to the ICAI.
