Students’ Welfare Society – A unit of Dawoodi Bohra Youth is organizing a career counseling program on 29^th of May 2011 at Bohra Community Hall from morning 9:30am till 12.00 noon.

Various renowned counselors and educationists including Ruksana Sabeelwala – Assistant Professor and Lecturer in communication skills, Department of Humanity and Social Science,  Gazanfer Ali Okasa – Director Iqra Education Solution, Shabbir Hussain RV –  Director of PIBS,  M.R Sehgal –  Director Institute of Hotel Management and Catering, Udaipur and Dr. Vineet Baya – Director PT Education will be present to help the students.

Every year SWS conducts career counseling program in order to construct an extensive platform for youngsters to perceive opportunities in different professions.

Nazneen Dawood, President of SWS said “every teenager faces the problem of choosing best career for them; we have monotonous tradition of following each other. We want to break that practice and in order to do that we are organizing this program where students can directly meet and get counseling from some of the best professionals.”

“We are expecting 300-500 students and this event will be open to all.”

SWS is an organization for the students by the students and was founded in 1972 with the aim to inculcate the qualitative change among youth. SWS keeps on organizing various social and cultural events like education camps, workshops, mock test papers and also provides services like library with more than 10,000 plus collection of books. It is also active in conducting sports activities like cricket tournaments.

Every year this counseling program is conducted after the results of Class 10^th and 12^th. But, this year it will be organized before class 10^th results.
