The registration for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 will begin soon, as the official notification is expected to be released in July. This notification will include details about the syllabus, exam pattern, and admission process.

CAT 2024 will be conducted by IIM Calcutta, following IIM Lucknow's hosting last year. The exam is scheduled for the last Sunday of November, with the official CAT website going live in July.

In 2023, registration opened on August 2 and closed on September 20. The admit card was released on November 7, and the exam took place on November 26. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates) to be eligible for registration.

CAT is essential for admission to postgraduate management and doctoral programs at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and is also accepted by several non-IIM institutions.
