No Merit List to be announced and Improvement examination in one Subect is permitted in line with NEP 2020
The much awaited CBSE Board results 2023 of Class 10th and 12th were declared on Friday, May 12. Both the Board examinations were held in the months of February, March and April. Students can check their results on official website of CBSE.

Students have to use their board exam roll number, admit card ID, School number and date of birth to check their results.

The results are also available on https://results.digilocker.gov.in and https://umang.gov.in. The mobile Apps of both Umang and Digilocker can be downloaded from PlayStore or the Apple Store. The marksheets, migration certificate and Skill Certificates can also be downloaded from the CBSE repository "Parinam Manjusha" once the results are declared.

In line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy, to provide improvement opportunities to students, Class XII students will be allowed to improve their performance in One Subject of Choice. The examinations for Improvement will be conducted under the Supplementary examination in July 2023. Dates will be announced by the CBSE.
No Merit List
As per the earlier decision of the CBSE to avoid unhealthy competition, no merit list will be declared by the CBSE. Also, Board is not awarding First, Second or Third Divisions to its students. However, Merit Certificate will be issued to 0.1% of students who have scored the highest marks in a Subject.
Notice for Re-evaluation
The CBSE will also provide facilities to the students as done earlier of getting their marks verified, obtaining photocopies and re-evaluation. A separate notice will be issued by the CBSE and the start date of this facility will be 16 May 2023.
The pass %age was the maximum for Bengaluru (Bangalore) region at 98.64% while it was lowest for Prayagraj at 78.05%.
The candidates who scored above 95% stood at 22,622 which is 1.56 percent of the candidates who passed the examination. The students who scored above 90% was 1,12,838 which is 7.78% of the candidates who passed the examination.
