Udaipur, May 13, 2026: The results of the Class 12 Board Examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education were declared today, bringing relief and excitement to lakhs of students across the country.

This year, the Trivandrum region emerged as the top performer with an impressive 95.62% pass percentage, followed by Chennai and Bengaluru regions. Among institutions, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) recorded the highest overall pass percentage.

Students can access and download their marksheets through the official CBSE website, as well as digital platforms such as UMANG and DigiLocker. Detailed instructions have already been issued on the CBSE portal.

No Merit List, No Divisions

Continuing its policy to discourage unhealthy academic competition, CBSE has not released a merit list this year, nor has it categorized students into divisions.

However, Merit Certificates will be awarded to the top 0.1% students who have secured the highest marks in individual subjects. These certificates will be automatically uploaded to students’ DigiLocker accounts.

For Rajasthan, the Ajmer division secured the 11th position nationally, recording a pass percentage of 86.78%.

OSM Evaluation

A key highlight of this year’s board examinations was the introduction of OSM (On Screen Marking) evaluation by CBSE. Educators have welcomed the move, calling it a major step towards modernizing the examination process and increasing transparency.

The digital evaluation system helps eliminate totalling mistakes, uploading or posting errors, incomplete assessments, and significantly reduces risks linked to transportation, loss, or damage of answer sheets.

CBSE also announced that results of students appearing from West Asian countries have been declared simultaneously.
