The evaluators involved in the preparation of results seem very stressed and panicked, hence the extension.

No clarification has been received whether the extension of deadline would result in a delay or it will be declared on 31st July.

The Central Board of Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for schools for creating results for Class 12. The date which was earlier declared for the preparation of results was 22nd July which has now been extended to 25th July.

The CBSE examination controller Bharadwaj said that the evaluators are under stress and quite panicky about creating the results. It has been noted that the evaluators are making mistakes while preparing the results in a rush and requesting the Board to rectify them, he added.

To maintain peace of mind among the evaluators, CBSE decided to extend the date of result preparation.Controller Bharadwaj also said, “In case, any school is left to complete the moderation of marks, the result of such schools will be declared separately."

Board exams for classes 10th and 12th have been cancelled because of the surge in pandemic cases. The schools have been asked to use separate alternative assessment policy announced by the CBSE for creating results for both 10th and 12th classes. It has not yet been clarified whether the extension would cause a delay in the declaration of result or it will be declared by 31st July.
