Counselling to reduce stress in students...

CBSE

Starting January 1, 2024, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is providing psychological counseling to students in classes 10 and 12, as well as their parents.  CBSE is providing a free and optional Tele-counselling service, available from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Saturday. A 24/7 free IVRS service is also accessible to students and parents.

Since 1998, CBSE has been offering counseling in two phases – before exams and after results. This 25-year-old service is designed to reduce stress for students in affiliated schools during exams.

This year, 13 counselors from different parts of the world, such as Kuwait, Nepal, Japan, Doha-Qatar, Oman (Muscat), and United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Sharjah, Ras-al-Khaimah), will offer counseling services. These services will be accessible in various countries worldwide, including Kuwait, Nepal, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Oman, USA, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
