No Special Exam for Students with Compartment
The CBSE has announced a new policy to encourage sports and educational competitions among students. They will offer special exams for students whose CBSE Board exams coincide with national or international sports events. These sports events must be recognized by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI), or Olympiads recognized by the Homi Bhabha Center of Science Education (HBCSE).
To avail this opportunity, schools need to submit applications to their respective regional offices by December 31, 2023. These applications should be supported by recommendations from the Sports Authority of India and the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education. Certification of participation from the concerned organizations is also required.
It is important to note that no special or separate exams will be conducted for students with compartment and practical exams.
