Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E) class XII results were declared today at 10.00AM.

Around 1500 students of Udaipur appeared in 12^th CBSE exams this year. Central Academy – Sardarpura topped the chart with five students listed among top 10 combining both commerce and science streams.

Ritika Dave from Central Academy – Hiran Magri topped XII commerce and also overall chart combining science and commerce while Somya Singhvi from Alok School topped Science and stands on #2 position in overall ranking of Udaipur.

Other thriving schools are MMPS, ST. Mary’s, Alok, The Study, Kendriya Vidyalaya and St. Paul’s.

* Hardik Kothari from Maharana Mewar Public School (MMPS) is the only student who scored 100 out of 100 in two subjects, Chemistry and Math. Hardik stands on 11^th position (all over)

We have met two over all toppers of Udaipur Ritika Dave and Somya Singhvi and asked about their feelings and future plans.

#1.Ritika Dave

She is the only child of her parents, though she lost her father in an accident few years back and since then her uncle is taking care of her. Ritika dreamt of becoming doctor when she was child but now she is all set to pursue her career in accountancy. “ I was not expecting such result, had some doubts in economics but because of my mother, uncle and aunt’s blessings with an equal contribution of my teachers I did it” said Ritika with sparkling eyes.

 

#2. Somya Singhvi

Somya has an identical twin brother Divya Singhvi, like Somya, Divya has also scored well and stands on 13^th position in overall ranking with 92.4% percentage in science stream. These twins are packing their bags, not for a vacation but for another long academic journey to United States, both of them received a scholarship of USD 60,000$ / per year from TATA to study in U.S Cornell University. When asked the secret of his success Somya said, “I give credits to God Almighty, my parents, brothers and teachers of Alok School. I am going to give my best in Mechanical Engineering, that’s my aim and my brother’s too”.

The Study also made remarkable results with Shaad Ali in commerce scored 94.6% and Bhavya Shaktavat
