The six day training program facilitated by State Institute of Education, Research and Training (SIERT) has fallen on its face, following the dissatisfaction expressed by the trainees over the quality of the training module.

SIERT, on the directions of the State Government, was to inculcate a generic module under the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) platform, wherein education will be imparted across the government schools throughout the state on a single teaching platform.

Of the persons present at the training program, Parasram Tiwari from Jodhpur said that he had taken a similar training program on CCE and the new module is no different from the one in 2009.  Further, this module is having a lot of errors.  Another trainee, Saurabh Singh from Bharatpur was of the view that the training program failed to address most of the queries from the trainees.

Questions are being raised on the development of the module, which appears to have been prepared in haste and also due to the fact that the designer and developers and users are two different sets of people, as far as the understanding of the deliverable is concerned.

Renu Chowdhary, Training In-charge at SIERT said that SIERT was given the module on 30th April and the training program started on 1st May.  Proof reading of the module was also not completed.  The CCE Module will handed over to the trainees on 6th May, the day the training is completed.
