The CET (Senior Secondary Level) exam conducted by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) saw a significant turnout on its second day, October 23, 2024.
Attendance Statistics
In the first session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 25,025 out of 28,272 registered candidates attended, resulting in an attendance percentage of 88.52%. In the second session from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 25,366 candidates were present, leading to an attendance percentage of 89.72%. Overall, the combined attendance for both sessions was 89.2%.
Traffic Congestion
Due to the large number of candidates arriving from various districts, traffic jams were reported. Long queues formed outside bus stands, railway stations, and examination centers throughout the day.
Exam Paper Difficulty
Experts Sanjay Loonawat and Shubham Jaim noted that the exam paper was challenging for the Secondary Level. Questions related to current affairs focused heavily on Rajasthan and India. Both phases of the exam aligned well with the syllabus, covering areas such as Mathematics, Mental Ability, Sports, General Science, the Constitution, Geography, History, Computer Science, General Hindi, and General English. Some questions from previous years were also included, emphasizing the need for candidates to review earlier CET papers.
Candidates from Various Districts
The highest number of candidates came from Banswara, Dungarpur, and Pratapgarh. A total of 90 buses were used to transport these candidates to their destinations. The Udiapole bus stand experienced a large crowd from early morning until late at night. Roadways staff and police worked together to manage the queues efficiently.
Many candidates from Rajsamand also attended, but the existing number of scheduled buses was sufficient, requiring only one additional bus.
