At the 2-day ARCA Junior Chess Championship organized collaboratively by Singhal Chess Academy and All Rajputana Chess Association, the chess players of Lakecity gave excellent performances gaining all the top three positions.

According to President of Chess in Lakecity, Chandrajeet Singh Rajawat, Harshit Sharma and Prabhav Maheshwari secured first, second and third position, respectively in the junior boys’ category. On the other hand, Hiral Chatwani secured second position in the junior girls’ category.

In the competition held at Step by Step School in Jaipur, other players from Udaipur including Naman Porwal, Akshi Chatwani, Gautam Kataria, Bhavesh Pandiyar, Kunal Chabbra, Ayush Lodha, Dhruv Dak, Vandan Lodha, Yash Mandawariya and Bhavya Gehlot secured first 20 positions and performance of Kushal Patel and Shubham Lodha was commendable.

The first three winners were given cash prize of Rs. 1500, Rs. 1100 and Rs. 700 along with trophies.
