CLAT Exam

November 30,2024 - The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 will be held on December 1, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The exam will be conducted in offline mode, with a pen-and-paper format. Candidates should be seated in the exam hall by 1:30 pm. Once inside, they will not be allowed to leave the classroom.

Candidates must bring the following documents to the test center

  1. Admit Card (If the photograph is unclear, a self-attested photograph must be attached).

  2. Government ID Proof (Original photo ID issued by the government for identity verification).

  3. Disability Certificate (For PwD/SAP candidates, an original certificate must be shown).

What is Permitted in the Test Center?

  • Black or blue ballpoint pens

  • Transparent water bottle

  • Transparent box for stationery

  • Analog watch

  • Government ID Proof

What is Not Allowed?

  • Bags

  • Electronic devices

Candidates can bring any of the following government-issued ID documents

  • Aadhaar Card (with updated photo)

  • Passport

  • PAN Card

  • Voter ID

  • Driving License

  • Recognized Educational Institution ID

  • Photo Bank ATM Card

  • Kissan Photo Passbook

  • CGHS/ECHS Photo Card

  • Address Card from the Department of Posts

  • Certificate of Identity from Gazetted Officer or Tehsildar

  • Disability ID Card or Medical Certificate

Marking Scheme

  • The exam will have 120 questions, each worth 1 mark.

  • Negative marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

  • Unanswered questions will not have any penalties.

  • Double marking (shading more than one circle or stray marks) will be treated as wrong and will result in a penalty.

After the exam, candidates should keep

  • Admit Card signed by the Invigilator (required for admission).

  • Question Paper (QB) and OMR Response Sheet for future reference.
