The schedule for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), which is an important examination for admission to the National Law University, Jodhpur, and 24 other NLUs across India has been announced. The exam is scheduled to take place on December 1, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Intrested students are advised to submit their registration forms online during the month of July.

Rising Trend in Legal Education

The growing trend towards legal education is evident across the country, including in cities like Udaipur. Last year, Jay Bohra, a 15-year-old student from Udaipur, secured the top position nationwide in CLAT, scoring an impressive 108 out of 118 marks. His achievement highlights the increasing interest and potential in the field of legal education among the youth.

Exam Details

The CLAT question paper will comprise five sections: Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, English Language, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, and Quantitative Techniques. Candidates should note that there will be negative marking, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer. Successful candidates through this exam will secure admissions to 3241 seats for BA-LLB and 1248 seats for LLM across various NLUs.
