Closing Ceremony of ETNCC-2011 of Brilliant Minds

Today on 24th April 2011, the closing ceremony of International Conference on Emerging Trends in Networks and Computer Communications (ETNCC2011), began at 1 pm in CTAE campus. The whole knowledge enhancing, information sharing event which had a benign presence of all super minded global personalities as speakers, was wrapped up today.

 

Today on 24th April 2011, the closing ceremony of International Conference on Emerging Trends in Networks and Computer Communications (ETNCC2011), began at 1 pm in CTAE campus. The whole knowledge enhancing, information sharing event which had a benign presence of all super minded global personalities as speakers, was wrapped up today.

Chief Guest were S.S. Chahal- Vice chancellor of MPUAT, Prof. Sorel Reisman, President of IEEE Computer Society, Sanjay Singhal-Guest of Honor, MD, Secure Meters Ltd., Dr. R.C. Purohit- Dean CTAE, Er. R.S. Vyas – Director of Techno NJR India Institute of Technology, Dr Dharm Singh – Organizing Secretary and HOD Computer Science, CTAE, Dr. S.S. Rathore, Y.C. Bhatt.

Technical session 1 was from 9am to 10:30 am at AVP hall, CTAE and the topic of discussion was Network on Chip.

Technical session 2 was on Mobile, Adhoc & Sensor netoworks, which began from 9am to 10:30 am at seminar hall, CTAE.

Technical session on Wireless networks was from 10:45 am to 1 pm at AVP Hall, CTAE.

Technical session 2 was on Security Effectiveness, which began from 10:45am to 1 pm at seminar hall, CTAE.

Dr. S.S. Rathore, Director The Institution of Engineers (India), Udaipur local center welcomed the guests and introduced them to the activities of the institution. Dr. Rathore informed that more than 500 entries were received out of which total 157 research papers were presented during the three day event in 17 different sessions. More than 300 computer engineers and students were a part of this event.

Prof. Sorel praised the work of organizing committee and said that event was a grand success. He also said that all the selected research works deserve appreciation and wished good luck to the presenters for a bright future. He said that India is the leading software and hardware producer. Talking about Udaipur, he was mesmerized with the history, culture and beauty of the place especially City Palace and the Kumbhalgarh Fort.

Er. R.S. Vyas expressed his views saying that he would like to see Udaipur as a leading education hub. He asked for the support of IEEE and IE (India), various educations, institutions and universities to come forward and help in bringing educational advancements in beautiful Lakecity.

Dr. Dharm Singh, Organizing Secretary of ENTCC – 2011,  expressed his gratitude of thanks towards all the sponsors, members of organizing committee – Mr. S.B. Singh, Chairman, Mr. S.V.S. Chaudhary, Ex-Chairman Computer Division Board, Institution of Engineers (India) and Udaipur local center, Dr. R.C. Purohit, Dean CTAE and Mr. R.S. Vyas, Director Techno NJR Institute.

He also made following recommendations :

  1. Smart metering, home automation technologies and ICT solutions will be adopted for increasing efficiency, loss reduction, reduce energy theft and for efficient data collection for better energy accounting in the electrical sector.
  2. Make use of social network and wireless networks technology for enhancing the connectivity between farming community.
  3. For better bandwidth management swarm intelligence techniques may be used.
  4. Active identification of malware to reduce attacks on data and privacy of the citizens.
  5. More research can be funded on active identification of malware to reduce attacks on data and privacy of the citizens.
  6. Development of inter-operable standards for heterogeneous networks.
  7. There are several network types and protocols used in the vehicles by various manufactures and need to standardize the protocols.

Dr. S.S. Chahal said that all the participants showed tremendous response. Sharing ideas and sharing each other’s expertise is the real aim of such conferences. He also emphasized the use of computers in day-to-day life. He believes that interactive sharing is possible through such conferences.

Mr. Sanjay Singhal, MD Secure Meters Ltd., presented his views saying, “Engineers have a bigger role in society than just being inventors.”

Dr. R.C. Purohit, Dean CTAE, uttered that Dr. S.S. Chahal has changed the scenario of MPUAT and has made a mark in international frame.

At the end of the seminar, on behalf of the participants Er. Rakesh Sehgal, Director Cyber Security (C-DAC, Mohali) and Dr. Ranjan Bala Jain from Mumbai thanked the organizing committee by declaring the event as a grand success.

It was an immense honor for Udaipur to get opportunity to have their share in the enormous sea of knowledge in their city through this conference seminar.
