College Admission Process Goes Online
Directorate of College Education has recently introduced paperless admission procedure for around 62 colleges, including Meera Girls (MG) College of Udaipur, where all the new and re-admissions for graduation courses would be through online procedure, while the Post Graduation students have to fill their respective forms physically.
Directorate of College Education has recently introduced paperless admission procedure for around 62 colleges, including Meera Girls (MG) College of Udaipur, where all the new and re-admissions for graduation courses would be through online procedure, while the Post Graduation students have to fill their respective forms physically.
Savita Joshi, Principal, Meera Girls College briefed about the do’s and don’ts of the online application; Joshi informed that in coming session of 2013-2014 students just have to visit the website www.dce.rajasthan.gov.in, where every step of application process is explained for convenience of admission seeking students.
The admissions for the coming session will start from 5th June, added Savita Joshi. She further informed that to make this process easier for students, training sessions of the same will be organized in the college, wherein both students and parents will be given comprehensive information about the pattern of filling the form.
Joshi also elaborated that being one of the biggest girls’ college of the district, MG College comprises of nearly 50% of its total students from rural areas who are not comfortable with this new admission procedure, so they have also started with the students’ helpline which will assist the students.
