NCERT is Preparing to Make Video of this Comic

NCERT is preparing to make an animated video inspired by this book. Videos are already done in Hindi and English, and they are working on making them in other languages too. They plan to dedicate one day a week to teaching through videos to keep children excited about learning.

In a collaborative effort between the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and UNESCO New Delhi, the comic book signifies a significant stride towards advancing the goals of the School Health and Wellness Programme (SHWP).

The "Let’s Move Forward" comic book is crafted to meet the diverse needs of adolescents and covers essential information related to the 11 thematic components of the SHWP. These components include emotional well-being, interpersonal relationships, gender equality, nutrition and health, substance abuse prevention, healthy lifestyles, reproductive health, internet safety, and more.

Accessible in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, and various regional languages, the comic book aims to ensure inclusivity across linguistic diversity.

The distribution of the "Let’s Move Forward" comic book will encompass various educational and health institutions nationwide, including State School Education Departments, SCERTs, Colleges of Teacher Education (CTEs), Institutes of Advanced Study in Education (IASEs), District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs), and Block Institutes of Teacher Education (BITEs).

Furthermore, the comic books will be distributed to the 29,000 schools affiliated with the CBSE, expanding its outreach. An electronic version of the comic book will also be accessible on the Ministry of Education (MoE), NCERT, UNESCO, and DIKSHA websites, ensuring widespread access to its valuable content.
